    È da un mese buono che va in scena un one-man-show che manco Broadway ai tempi d’oro.

    Tra minacce apocalittiche, trovate da reality show e deliri da film distopico anni ’80, lo Zio Donald sembra aver deciso che la politica estera (e pure interna) sia solo un palcoscenico su cui gridare più forte del pubblico.
    Eppure, nonostante le urla e i proclami, l’unica reazione logica è un misto tra imbarazzo e ilarità. Perché se un tempo certe sparate incutevano timore, oggi suonano più come barzellette stiracchiate da cabaret di provincia.
    La verità è che dietro la maschera da “uomo forte” si nasconde una crisi di credibilità (e forse di lucidità). Un copione già visto, in cui lo showman Trump si sforza di sembrare il salvatore dell’Occidente, mentre spara nel mucchio e isola l’America più di quanto non facciano le sue politiche.

    ATTO I – Alcatraz Reloaded

    Con la delicatezza di un bulldozer in una boutique, Trump ha deciso di riportare in auge la mitica Alcatraz.
    Sì, proprio lei: la prigione su un’isola, oggi simbolo di turismo e cultura, trasformata di nuovo in un penitenziario d’élite per “i peggiori criminali d’America”.
    Un piano così vintage da sembrare un reboot mal riuscito di “Fuga da Alcatraz”, con Clint Eastwood che si rifiuta pure di tornare per un cameo.
    Peccato solo che:
    l’isola è patrimonio nazionale;
    le strutture sono mangiate dal sale;
    serve un budget da Marvel Cinematic Universe;

    Non pago di riscrivere la storia del sistema carcerario, il nostro ha deciso di lanciarsi contro i film stranieri, rei di minare l’economia americana con la scusa degli incentivi alle produzioni.
    La risposta? Un dazio del 100% su ogni pellicola che non parli inglese con accento del Midwest.

    Peccato che:
    metà delle mega-produzioni USA si girano in Nuova Zelanda, Canada o Italia;
    Hollywood vive di co-produzioni;
