RICORDI DI UNA BUONA SCUOLA

C’era una volta la scuola.
Quella viva, vera, quella che si chiamava elementare, perché quello che ci si faceva era, appunto, elementare, semplice.
Era una scuola pulita, colorata, allegra, con quel profumo tipico, misto di gesso, colla vinilica, carta e sapone. Sapeva appunto di scuola.
Era una scuola dove arrivavi col sorriso. Attaccavi i cartelloni senza paura che se fossi caduta ti beccavi una denuncia perché l’assicurazione non ne risponde (...)

Festeggiavi qualsiasi cosa, compleanni, nascite, prime comunioni, si mangiava di tutto e in allegria, senza intolleranze ed allergie. Distribuivi caramelle, cioccolatini e fette di torte fatte in casa (...)

Si andava a cena con i colleghi e a ricreazione si affettava il salame che portava il maestro e si faceva merenda con quello, perché non c’erano i distributori automatici. Il caffè lo faceva la bidella con la moka e te lo portava in classe, senza che fosse nel suo contratto di lavoro. In compenso se si usavano le tempere ti fermavi a pulire tu i banchi sporchi.

Era una scuola serena e se qualcuno si ammalava, i colleghi gli telefonavano per sapere come stava, non per sapere il suo orario per trovare le sostituzioni.
Perché se ti ammalavi nominavano le supplenti, non dividevano gli alunni nelle altre classi.

Questa era la scuola, la buona scuola.
Ora è solo un ricordo lontano, una favola da raccontare ai bambini di oggi, sempre che non siano impegnati a girare da una classe all’altra perché la loro maestra è ammalata.

Quanta nostalgia per tornare ad insegnare in una scuola così! Quella della nostra infanzia, per la quale vedendo le nostre maestre appassionate e colme di valori e personalità vere, autentiche, abbiamo deciso di seguire la loro strada!
