Modern 4 Cavity Plastic Container Cap Mould are designed to be energy-efficient. The injection moulding process used to create plastic caps typically requires significant amounts of energy to melt and inject the plastic into the mould. However, by utilizing advanced moulding technologies, such as hot runner systems, manufacturers can reduce waste and improve energy efficiency, which ultimately lowers production costs.

The most common method for producing plastic caps using cavity moulds is injection moulding. In this process, plastic pellets are melted and injected under high pressure into the mould cavity. The molten plastic fills the cavity and takes the shape of the cap, including the thread design and other features. Once the plastic cools and solidifies, the cap is ejected from the mould.

Injection moulding is preferred for producing caps because it allows for high-speed production and can create parts with complex shapes and detailed features, such as internal threads and sealing rings. The process also offers excellent control over material distribution, ensuring uniform thickness and high-quality results.

Plastic container caps can be made from a variety of plastic materials, depending on the product's requirements. Polypropylene (PP) is one of the most commonly used materials for caps due to its durability, chemical resistance, and cost-effectiveness. Polyethylene (PE) and polyethylene terephthalate (PET) are also used, especially for specialized applications like tamper-evident or child-resistant caps.

The material choice depends on factors such as the type of product being packaged (e.g., food, beverages, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals), the required strength of the seal, and any specific regulatory or safety requirements.

The versatility of cavity moulds makes them suitable for producing different types of plastic caps. Some common cap designs include:

Screw caps: Used in various industries, including food, beverages, and pharmaceuticals, screw caps feature threads that allow for easy opening and closing.

Push-on caps: These caps are designed to be pressed onto the container, providing a secure seal without threads.

Tamper-evident caps: Designed to show visible signs of tampering, these caps are commonly used in the food and beverage industry.

Child-resistant caps: These caps require a specific action to open, ensuring that children cannot easily access potentially harmful substances, such as medicine or cleaning products.

The mold has a short injection cycle, high efficiency, long life, and low cost.
Adopting the special flow channel design of the international advanced level, the cooling adopts circulating water to effectively improve the product demolding efficiency
The insert is made of S136 high-quality mold steel, and the steel hardness is HRC45-HRC48
The mid-term modulation treatment, tempering, and nitriding treatment make the tool parts have good comprehensive mechanical properties, high rigidity, and small deformation.
