A rangefinder binoculars is a type of laser rangefinder that integrates a ranging system and a viewing system, allowing it to combine observation and measurement functions into one. It is a branch of laser rangefinders, or it can be called a long-distance laser rangefinder.

The laser returns to the detecting end of the rangefinder after being reflected by the object to be measured. The rangefinder calculates the distance between the rangefinder and the object to be measured by calculating the round-trip time of the laser.
