According to the national standard GB/T 15979-2002 "Safety Regulations for Tower Cranes," wind speed levels are classified as follows: Level 1 (≤ 5.4 m/s), Level 2 (5.4-7.9 m/s), Level 3 (7.9-10.7 m/s), and Level 4 (10.7-13.8 m/s). Hoisting operations should be stopped when the wind speed exceeds Level 4.

How to Use the Tower Crane Anemometer Effectively

1. Correct Installation: The anemometer should be installed at the top of the tower crane according to national standards to ensure accurate measurements.

2. Regular Calibration: As a precision instrument, the anemometer should be regularly calibrated by a professional service provider to maintain accuracy.

3. Accurate and Reliable Sensing: Ensure that the anemometer is installed in a suitable location and that the sensor is functioning properly. The system should be able to provide timely and accurate alarms when the wind speed reaches the warning threshold.
