From Welcome to Belonging

Durham Community Support Group began with a simple belief—that every community member deserves to feel at home.

What started as a small network of volunteers helping families move into furnished homes has grown into a community movement built on compassion, dignity, and empowerment. Over the years, we’ve walked alongside countless individuals and families as they navigated housing, education, employment, financial stability, and integration into Canadian life.

Our story is woven from their journeys, our partnerships, and the dedication of volunteers who believe in creating a community where everyone can thrive. Every act of kindness and every connection made brings us closer to a future where belonging is not just a hope—it’s a reality.
