Titanium is the late-game metal that unlocks the strongest gear and the toughest structures on Arrakis. You will not need Titanium in the early hours, but later you will find it blocks your progress unless you go after it Dune Awakening Items.

Go where the big rocks are and accept the risk. Titanium only spawns in the Deep Desert, not in the safe starter zones. The Deep Desert brings harsher weather, stronger wildlife, and large areas that are full PvP. If you plan a run, check your transport, fuel, and tools first, and prepare to leave fast if you are ambushed. Servers have mixed layouts, so learn the map for your world before you push too far.

Look for solid stone, not open sand. The ore sits on rocky outcrops, islands of stone, and canyon edges. Fly or scout low to spot the telltale sheen and vein patterns on rock faces. A Scout Ornithopter makes quick searching easier, and miners usually bring a Cutteray at a high mark (Mk5 or better) to break Titanium efficiently. Use survey probes or the in-game resource filters if you have them, and mark nodes on your map so you can run quick circuits.

Try the Shield Wall if you want a different approach. The developers added Titanium and Stravidium spawns along parts of the Shield Wall, so you can find nodes there as well. Some rows along the Wall give predictable places to check, and these spots can be less chaotic than the Deep Desert heart if you plan a route that avoids the busiest choke points. Still, the Wall can be hard to reach depending on your base and transport, so check access first.

Expect other players and plan for conflict or escape. The best Titanium hotspots draw groups and clans. Solo players often report heavy contesting in prime clusters, and larger groups may sit on nodes or build over them. Bring defensive gear, buy or borrow backup vehicles, and have an exit plan — fast climb to altitude, a sprint to cover, or a decoy run.

Treat node timing like part of the loop. Titanium nodes have long cooldowns after being mined, and the game’s adjustments increased some respawn windows to around 45 minutes in many cases. That means efficient players do a circuit: hit one node, move to other objectives, then loop back when the timer has likely passed. Use your downtime to gather spice, hunt lower-tier resources, or run small raids so you are not idling next to a mined node. Also pack extra storage and a plan to haul heavy ore back to base or a trade hub.

Mining skill and timing give the biggest gains. Bring the right Cutteray, keep vehicle cargo light so you can leave quickly, and refine or stash Titanium as soon as you return. Titanium feeds top-tier recipes and base components, and it pairs with other late materials for high-end crafting. You will also use Titanium to make key trade items and schematics that feed endgame builds and rare Dune Awakening Items for sale, so move it wisely and protect your haul.
