This skill provides buffs without needing a hotbar slot, thanks to Last Epoch gold the Until Dawn node, which spawns Black Arrows when you fire Multishot. Picking them up grants Fury (Quick Draw) and Crimson Shroud (Crimson Quiver). Keep an eye out for arrows mid-fight to refresh buffs.

Shift

Your main movement tool. Molting and Shadowslip turn it into a defensive escape, while Momentum improves mobility. With Sleight of Hand, Shift automatically throws Shurikens, adding an extra layer to your defense.

Shurikens

Built here for defense rather than offense. Scintillant Steel, Acrobatics, Behind the Veil, and Stagger add mobility and debuffs. Blade Shield keeps them circling around you, while Bladed Armor grants bonus defense. Think of Shurikens as a protective shell that also harasses enemies.

Smoke Bomb

A vital defensive cooldown. Nodes like Concealed in Carnage, Enfeeblement, Moonlight Bomb, and Shrouded in Darkness provide mitigation, blinds, and enemy weakening. Boost its area with Lingering Fumes and Generosity.

Passive Tree Priorities

Rogue Base Tree

Swift Assassin for early damage.

Evasion and Agility for movement speed and crit scaling.

Unlock Marksman at 20 points with Steady Hand.

Marksman Tree

Assassin's Quiver and Draining Arrows are core for sustain and DPS. They work beautifully with Uniques that disable standard leech/regen.

Perfect Aim later synergizes with those same Uniques.

Round out with Concentration, Meditation, Reflection, Barbed Arrows, Sniper's Gambit, and Sharpshooter.

Cap off with Master Archer, which further buffs Multishot.

Optional: sprinkle points into Bladedancer or Falconer for Dexterity and survivability, though not required during leveling.
