Important Government Initiatives for the adoption of LED lights:

Authorities in Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, and Telangana are advocating for energy conservation, which helps spread the use of LEDs. Retail being widespread and most consumers being comfortable with technology, are allowing companies to introduce new types of products directly online. For instance, in August 2024, Karnataka approved an INR 684-crore plan to switch Bengaluru streetlights to LED. The Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike is replacing around three lakh streetlights with LED lights.
