Somme contestate e soldi sottratti

La contestazione dei pubblici ministeri e della sentenza riguarda i benefici e i soldi illecitamente percepiti e l’uso di fondi pubblici:

Secondo l’accusa i legami con la Fondazione Maugeri e con il San Raffaele hanno portato a utilità e benefit (vacanze, cene, yacht, regali, acquisto agevolato villa, ecc.) per un valore complessivo di milioni di euro e a favoreggiamenti in favore delle due strutture per rimborsi della Regione Lombardia stimati dagli investigatori nell’ordine di circa 200 milioni di euro di rimborsi pubblici complessivi non dovuti.

In sede giudiziaria si è parlato anche di circa 70 milioni di euro di flussi e forme di utilità ricevute da Formigoni attraverso i due enti sanitari, e di sequestri di beni e denaro per oltre 60 milioni di euro nell’ambito dell’inchiesta.

Risarcimento alla Regione Lombardia: in primo grado la sentenza aveva disposto anche che Formigoni versasse 3 milioni di euro di provvisionale alla Regione Lombardia.

È stata inoltre disposta la confisca di circa 6,6 milioni di euro di beni riconducibili all’ex presidente.

In sintesi, mentre la pena definitiva è di 5 anni e 10 mesi di reclusione, i benefici e i flussi di denaro oggetto dell’accusa – secondo i pm e la sentenza di primo grado – si collocano nell’ordine di decine di milioni di euro di utilità e flussi pubblici e privati che sarebbero stati collegati al sistema di favori tra Regione Lombardia e le strutture Maugeri/San Raffaele.
