    L’ex generale rivendica la linea dura e sottolinea come il dissenso non sia rimasto isolato: “Mi dà soddisfazione che non solo due parlamentari della Lega abbiano votato no in Aula, ma molti di più. Il mio appello era rivolto a tutti perché ritengo che trovare una pace a questo conflitto sia un interesse nazionale. Questa guerra non ha portato nulla di buono all’Italia. Ha portato a meno commercio, a meno ricchezza, a meno benessere, a un caro vita eccessivo e a un prezzo dell’energia salito alle stelle, oltre a tantissimi imprenditori italiani che non possono più esportare i loro beni in Russia”.
