Diako vive a Cardiff, in Galles, e ai giornalisti ha raccontato che Amir è stato ucciso la scorsa settimana, picchiato e colpito a morte a Kermanshah, nell’Iran occidentale. Amir aveva deciso di partecipare alle manifestazioni, giovedì scorso, assieme ai compagni di classe: la sua scelta è risultata fatale. La famiglia sostiene di aver ricevuto una spiegazione diversa dalle autorità: il diciassettenne sarebbe “caduto da una grande altezza”. Quel giorno Amir non è stato il solo a perdere la vita: “Due suoi amici sono in coma, altri li hanno uccisi. Gli hanno sparato”, ha detto Diako.
