As soon as you land, you'll see the Ebon Maw emerge from a rift above, its massive form shifting and pulsing with Veil energy. It’s a towering beast with three glowing core weak spots and a terrifying roar that signals the battle has begun.

Phase One: The Core Strikes

Objective:

Destroy the Ebon Maw’s three exposed cores:

• Head (center eye)

• Left shoulder

• Chest

Each core is protected by rotating armor that only opens during attack animations.

Attacks:

• Void Lances – Shoots beams of dark energy that track your location.

• Veil Slam – Leaps into the air and slams down, creating shockwaves.

• Spectral Spawns – Summons waves of ghost zombies to distract you.

Strategy:

• Focus fire on the core that's exposed during each attack cycle.

• Use cover wisely—some debris provides protection from Void Lances.

• Stun grenades and monkey bombs help with crowd control.

Once all three cores are destroyed, the Maw collapses, seemingly defeated—but it’s far from over.

Phase Two: The Heart of the Maw

The arena darkens. The Ebon Maw rises again, this time in spectral form, shifting between dimensions and attacking relentlessly.

New Mechanics:

• Cores are no longer visible.

• The Maw teleports randomly across the arena.

• Players receive “Veil Fatigue” every minute, reducing movement and reload speed unless they stand in glowing Veil Light zones.

Goal:

Charge the Ancient Obelisk in the center of the arena by:

• Killing zombies near the Obelisk.

• Absorbing their essence into the crystal atop it.

Strategy:

• Split the team: 2 players protect the Obelisk, 2 kite the Maw and adds.

• Prioritize Essence Zombies (marked with purple eyes)—they charge the Obelisk faster.

• Use the Ray Gun Mark II Vortex to control tight clusters and buy time.

After charging is complete, the Obelisk fires a beam that locks the Ebon Maw in place, revealing its final weak point: the Veil Core.
