There are few bigger what-might-have-been stories in the modern NFL than Carson Wentz. Picked No. 2 overall in the 2016 draft cla s, Wentz had a promising rookie year, followed by a that ended prematurely after tearing his ACL.Prior to the injury Wentz went 11-2 as a starter and wound up leading the league that year Jerian Grant Jersey in QBR (78.6) and touchdown rate (7.5%). His Eagles went on to win the Super Bowl over Tom Brady's Patriots, albeit led by Nick Foles. After that he got one more shot as a starter with the Colts the following season, but it didn't go well.Since then Wentz has been only getting work as a backup, but there was a moment there when he looked like the next-big-thing in the NFL.
