PVC panels have limited heat resistance, making them unsuitable for certain ceiling locations. When exposed to heat sources like open flames, industrial heating devices, or spaces with poor air circulation, they can warp or degrade. However, in standard residential and commercial spaces without extreme heat, they perform perfectly well. They stand up to normal temperature fluctuations in kitchens, bathrooms, and offices. For areas with intense heat or direct sunlight, alternative materials like metal or coated gypsum are better choices. But for most everyday spaces, PVC panels’ heat performance is adequate.
